the Future - A
National Review of the Role and Responsibilities of Community Infection
Control Nurses and Communicable Disease Control Nurses in
England 2001-2002
This project was commissioned by the Department of
Health (England) and has used a multi-method research approach
to map the contributions made by CICN and CDCN to the
provision and delivery of Community Infection Control Services
and seek to identify where roles need to be developed and
education provided.
The report is also summarised in two parts
in the December 2002 and February 2003 issues of the British Journal
of Infection Control and Professional Nurse.
