Infection control: Prevention of healthcare-associated infection in primary and community care.

These guidelines build on the original epic activity but focus on primary and community care.  Initially commissioned by the Department of Health they have been developed under the auspices of The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) and
are now available on this site.  

These guidelines were simultaneously published as a supplements to the December 2003 issues of the Journal of Hospital Infection and The British Journal of Infection Control.
